Cassandra, Zero's Sister - presumed dead after Zero's house burned down, they reunited during Zero's trial
Hawk, a former lieutenant alongside Zero, has a wife and five children. Has megalomania tendencies but wants everyone to like him.
Lieutenant George 'Razor' Blade, Zero's most trusted friend, acts as Zero's right hand man. Has one son. Wife was killed in a rebel raid.
Head of a secret organisation, the Shadow Order, he has displayed an interest in the Cain family. He always gets what he wants and always has an ulterior motive.
Judge Eamon Morris, a jaded man who presided over Zero's trial. Expects nothing so is never surprised. He has a wife and two children.
Bernard Woolley is DG's able assistant, teaching her things that would enable her to function in the O.Z. as a princess, more ably, in DG's opinion, than Tutor. Little is known about him, but he has served governments since the age of twenty.
One of the few female supporters of The Sorceress. She has a mysterious past.
Son of Razor, was sent away to his grandparents after his mother died. As a result, there is great tension between the two.
